PHLEGMASIA

 

S  &  S:

  1. ALBA DOLENS - ileofemoral thrombosis. Swelling of entire leg and doughy consistency.
  2. CERULEA DOLENS - thrombosis involves ileofemoral and collaterals. Swelling and sometimes bullae are present.

Treatment:

    - As stated for DVT.

    - Fasciotomy PRN.
